Fun with Dick and Jane...
So I went to the movie theater and saw this movie (look at title). Since it had Jim Carey in it,
I figured it had to be funny. It was hilarious. It's about a couple who have hit rock bottam financially and revert to becoming
criminals.
I'm a lot of us have thought about robbing a store or something
at one time. Of course we don't act on it because we're afraid of getting caught. (Okay, maybe you good people just don't
do it because it's just not a good thing to do.)
The movie itself is super good and super funny. I didn't wonder at the end if
(hypothetically speaking- its a movie) they would ever tell their son about it.

Generally, this isn't the best idea in the world. One, you might get hit. More importantly you might
get a ticket.
I did this. Although I have a good reason: the road was icy. It was fun after it was over. Since
it was early in the morning there weren't many cars and things about. Time takes on a new speed
factor when you're going in slow motion.
Not too much damage was done. Just the bumper got a bit dented and the back light panel is busted.
I'm really happy for that.... not that the truck was messed up, just that... never mind.
And just so you know. If you start sliding in ice, don't stomp on the breaks! Just thought I remind
you.

A New Way to Get Free Parking- Use Your Head!
I was there when it happened and it was hilarious.
My boyfriend and I
were riding our bikes when all of a sudden he pointed and said, "We're catching that train." Off he goes across the street,
jumps his bike across the curb in the middle of the street and heads towards a parking lot. Now this is one of the parking
lots with a bar. You know, you take a ticket and the bar raises.
Well he's heading for the entrance and I look up just in time
to see him jerk his head, the bar jerk violently, bust off and bouce a little before it rolls into the snow.
What happened was he didn't see it. (Although it was painted grey
and white stripped.) He thought, "Hey, there should a bar here." And right then he saw it. He attempted to dodge it on his
bike but it got him in the neck. He didn't know if it broke or not but he kept going hoping no one saw.
Myself, once I got to the other side of the street, I broke down
laughing. I'm sure the people walking on the sidewalk who saw where laughing too. And I couldn't help laughing once I caught
up with him.... and whenever I think about it.
